If you see the Membership column, *Waiting* as a high number, don't pay it any attention ... I've not pinned down what's causing it aside from we're being spam attacked by people that aren't actually joining. I'd rather have this minor error than open the site up to massive spamming attacks. So please, ignore the Waiting section of Membership block and just join OK! Whenever a legit person joins the Waiting goes back down to normal! :o}
