Why should we support Israel? The Bible tells us so ... to show just a few instances, read on:

Genesis 12:3	"And I will bless them that bless thee and curse him that curseth thee; and in thee shall all nations of the earth be blessed." That pretty much sums it up doesn't it?
Psalm 122:6	"Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, they shall prosper that love thee." And this, heed it, it applies to all peoples and nations to this day!
Matthew 25:40	Jesus said, "Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as you have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me." One interpretation of this is that Jesus was referring to the Jewish/Israeli people, since he never called Gentiles 'his brethren'.
John 4:22	Jesus said, "Salvation is of the Jews!"
Romans 11	This chapter is all about how the Jews/Israelis relate to the Gentiles! You can read my thoughts on this chapter from Deb's Diary ... Pray for the PEACE of Jerusalem article.
Romans 15:27	"For if the Gentiles have shared in their (the Jews) spiritual things, they are indebted to minister to them also in material things."

We support Israel because God commands us to! Israel received God's everlasting covenant and
defined land boundaries promised to Abraham and his decendants through Isaac and Jacob
(whom God renamed Israel). You can read more about that from these passages:
